Our Liberator II™ Tactical Headset, was designed to military durability
standards for USAF SOF TACP - Special Operations Forces (Tactical Air
Control Party), Special Forces and USAF JTAC's and offers MSA Sordin
hearing protection. This enables the Liberator II™ to be worn
comfortably under MICH, PASGT and other ballistic helmets. It is
suitable for practically any tactical team because TCI can interface the
Liberator II™ with practically any portable radio model. Military
Liberator II™ models even interface with military aviation (ICS) (this
version requires an optional NATO adapter for MIL Aviation ICS) and
military field radios (SINCGARS, ASIP, PRC’s and MBITR). Dual-Comm and
Single-Comm versions are available. The Liberator II™ Headset provides
electronic hearing protection (NNR 22/Attenuation up to 29 dBa) and
ambient sound amplification. We have integrated a flexible boom
microphone with an effective noise-canceling Dynamic or Electret
microphone. We also include our TCI Tactical Push-To-Talk, U-94 Switch

KIT [Option I Version] (TACK) - The TACK - 1 Headset is a progressive, head-worn communication headset
for various applications. Its design allows it to be worn in
conjunction with most tactical helmets, bicycle helmets, hats and hoods.
The noise-canceling/waterproof microphone provides exceptional transmit
audio (with or without a gas mask). The TACK-1 version
(shown
to the left during a gas mask deployment) includes a pivoting speaker. A Gas Mask is
not required,

The TCI PTT was designed to provide dual-comm capability for conventional dual downlead headsets by TCI, Peltor and MSA Sordin. The PTT provides (2) two headset connections that integrate with one PTT housing (instead of two separate PTT's). This PTT provides RF and cross-talk protection of secure and non-secure voice communications. Two color-coded buttons allow the operator to easily key the corresponding radio with one finger. TCI SELECTABLE DUAL-COMM TACTICAL PTTThe TCI Selectable Dual-Comm Tactical PTT is a silent, exceptionally designed and durable Push-To-Talk switch used with one headset and two radios simultaneously. The Selectable Dual-Comm PTT allows an operator to monitor and transmit one of their two radios at a time, while having the capability to change the toggle switch to monitor and transmit the second radio. Designed to fill the operational void between Single-Comm and Dual-Comm Headsets and for those operators that carry two radios, but do not need the capability of transmitting on or receiving from both radios simultaneously. It is and exceptional option for operators who primarily use one radio at a time. MILITARY "Y" CABLE (RADIO
INTERFACE SPLITTER)TCI's Military "Y" Cable enables an operator to connect two headsets or one headset and one Military Handset (H-250, etc.) to one radio. Simultaneous transmissions are possible, but not recommended due to radio usage disciplines. Nonetheless, both devices connected to the "Y" splitter simultaneously receive transmissions. The use of the "Y" splitter is popular when a Comms Operator occasionally shares their radio with a team leader or Commander. Please note that the Military "Y" Cable is available with four and five conductor wiring. The radio connection is a U-329 and the two device connection are U-328.

EXTENSION CABLEDue to the vast array of communication requirements possible, we gladly manufacture various custom cable assemblies that augment the functionality of our systems and enable us to literally provide "custom" solutions quickly and upon demand. The photo on the left, shows one of the PTT extension cables available. In essence, this cable allows a conventional U-329 terminated Tactical PTT cable to be extended to a length of four to twelve feet. This is ideal for certain VIC, ASIP and SINCGARS requirements. We also create an array of headset extension cables, MP3 (iPAQ/PDA) Liberator Integration cables to facilitate online ordering while you are deployed... HEADSET EVALUATION PROGRAM: We thank you for your interest in our solution and are happy to state that we do offer a headset test and evaluation (T&E) program for members of law enforcement, government and the military.
Our government (local, state, federal and military) Evaluation Program Coordinator is Patricia Medine, Telephone (603) 580-5576 To qualify for the program, the requesting party must be authorized to request a product evaluation on behalf of the organization and our Headset Evaluation Request Form has been submitted. We provide the Headset Evaluation Request Form in two formats: ONLINE FORM or DOWNLOADABLE PDF FORM. It should be noted that our evaluation program is intended to provide products for evaluation WHEN "officially sanctioned by your agency or organization". Typically, realistic training events or controlled scenario-based training usually provide a good representation of product function and capabilities. It has been our experience that these sessions are well suited for product evaluation for anything from tactical boots to communication products. It is not recommended to ever deploy in real-world situations with any unfamiliar tactical equipment, so this should be avoided.
DOD RESTRICTIONS: Now in affect as a result of product evaluation requests that have resulted in theft or embezzlement of equipment... DOD has indicated that product evaluations by its members are only sanctioned when endorsed by a ranking official or contracting office approval. This is especially related to evaluation requests received from organizations outside the jurisdiction of the continental U.S. or Hawaii. It is quite unfortunate that the problem has resulted in the following restrictions, but we certainly understand the legitimate need to evaluate our products prior to purchasing is crucial. Nonetheless, we cannot disregard DOD policies or recommendations. As a result, TCI must reserve the right to decline evaluation requests or offer special concessions when an evaluation request would normally be declined based upon geographical location or circumstances. Organizations deployed, please take note of the following.
An evaluating agency is required to perform the evaluation within the United States of America or U.S. Territories. Prior written permission must be obtained prior to transporting an evaluation headset outside of the U.S.A.
Special terms and conditions apply regarding TCI product evaluations taking place outside of the United States of America or U.S. Territories pursuant to DOD policies. CONTACT TCI FOR FURTHER INFORMATION.
An evaluating agency of foreign origin will be required to provide a separate document and payment information in the event the evaluation headset is not returned within a specified period of time. The evaluating agency will only be billed if the evaluation terms and conditions are violated.
