Anime Expo '99 purchases.
  • 1/144 Turn A Gundam. I like the design, 'cept fot the mustache.
  • 1/35 Gasaraki Kit - the blue Shinden.
  • Brain Powerd Suit - the tan one.
  • Nausicaä Kit - Nausicaä riding Kai.
As you can see I purchased 4 not so expensive small scale Bandai kits. I'm looking forward to getting started on them.

I recently got my hands on one of the mecha kits from the Gasaraki anime (the Ishtar type). The $16.16 (tax inc.) I paid for it was well worth the price. The kit is 1/35 scale and is typical Bandai workmanship.

I know of three Gasaraki kits. Two of them are molded in tan the other one in blue. I first saw them at Hobby Link Japan and eventually my local anime shop got two of these kits in. I have the second release, the ISHTAR Mk- II. I went ahead and swiped the kit images from the HLJ page and put them up here for those interested.
